Thina Lowe
Mallory Hendrick
Thina Lowe was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from Augusta State
University obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Communications: Television and
Cinema, minoring in Sociology and Theatre. She also graduated from Connecticut School of Broadcasting with a certification in Television & Radio Broadcasting.
Now, Thina has her Masters of Science in Entertainment Business.
Thina has had vocal training at Yakira’s Vocal Studio, and School of Music at
Reinhardt College where she was a voice major. Thina’s also had acting and
modeling training at John Casablanca’s Modeling/Talent Agency, New Faces
Talent Agency, School of Theater at Augusta State University, Premier Actors
Network, Blueprint for Hollywood, and Fransuior School of Theatre.
At the tender age of two, Thina made her start in entertainment by singing. Her
mother was a church musician and placed her in the choir so her voice could be
heard. At the age of 5, Thina started modeling with New Faces Talent. She’s
always had a knack for modeling and enjoyed it. At the age of 7, Thina got into
acting doing a Nestle Quick Commercial. She enjoyed acting so much that she
decided to start pursuing her acting career by taking acting classes, and
participating in local plays. At the age of 14, Thina started doing pageants, and
won Miss Ruby in a local pageant. She also won The People’s Choice in the Miss
Black Atlanta pageant at the age of 19.
After graduating college, Thina has had the pleasure to work with several big
names like Martin Lawrence, Ice Cube, Owen Wilson, Robert Townsend, T-Pain,
Bow Wow, Pooch Hall from the hit TV show “The Game,” and etc. She’s also
worked on tons of shows like Tyler Perry’s “Meet The Browns,” “Vampire Diaries,”
“Drop Dead Diva,” and the TV pilot show, “Detroit 1-8-7” starring Michael
Imperioli from "Sopranos." Thina’s also performed in tons of big budget films like
“Lottery Ticket” starring Ice Cube, and Bow Wow, “Stomp The Yard 2,” directed by
Rob Hardy & produced by Will Packer, “Big Momma’s House 3” starring Martin
Lawrence and Brandon Jackson, “Hall Pass” starring Owen Wilson, and the list
goes on. Thina’s also starred in an independent film, “Crave of An Eye,” and had a
featured role in the following films, “The List,” “The Path,” and “Seabrooks.”
Thina’s passion for entertainment as a whole, never ends. Whether it is singing,
acting, or modeling, she will continue to pursue her dreams in the entertainment
industry with diligence.
