Naaya Bassey

Naaya Bassey is a Washington, DC native. She moved to Georgia at 12, and has called the Peach State
her home since. She began acting at the age of 5, starring in church plays, along with local productions.
She became member of YEA (Youth Ensemble of Atlanta) performing original stage plays with the
troupe. At 27, she is a Georgia State Alum, with a Bachelors in Performance Theatre and he continues to
do stage acting, along with films, and now voiceovers.
“Acting is what I breathe, it’s a part of my everyday life,” says Naaya, when asked about her passion for
the craft.
