Bonnie Collins

Bonnie Lane Collins was raised in Biloxi, Mississippi where she attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC) and then on to the University of Southern Mississippi. Just before graduating, Bonnie enlisted in the US Army where she was a member of the Finance Corps as a soldier in the 126th Finance Battalion. During her time in the military, she earned her MBA with a concentration in Finance. She served in Afghanistan and Iraq before transitioning back to civilian life in Atlanta, GA.

In 2012, she graduated with a Masters in Professional Accountancy at Georgia State University (GSU). Upon graduation, Bonnie worked as an auditor for a Top 10 accounting firm in Atlanta, GA and then transitioned to the private sector. During her time at GSU, Bonnie was introduced to One Talent, Inc. and knew she wanted to be a part of the nonprofit program. A board member since 2014, she served the youth of One Talent, Inc. by teaching Budgeting and Financial Literacy and, over the past several years, dedicated her time to the stage play and audio series ‘The Accountant and The Counselor.’

“Working on this play and audio series has definitely been an experience—and we can say that we have learned better ways of doing things over time! I have been especially blessed by being able to work with such a great pool of actors and actresses for both platforms as it makes my job much easier.”

While her future goals include writing and illustrating a children’s book, Bonnie

currently works as a Controller for a manufacturing company in Johns Creek, GA.

When not working or volunteering with One Talent, Inc., Bonnie can usually be

found traveling and spending time with her grandbaby, Hayes Grace. Her role in The Accountant & The Counselor is her directorial debut.
